Joseph Kakwinokanasum is a Cree-Austrian writer and storyteller, and member of the James Smith Cree Nation. Born in northern Saskatchewan and raised in the Peace Region of northern British Columbia, he has transformed personal adversity into powerful narratives that explore themes of identity, trauma, and resilience.
